The footbeds of these sandals is very comfortable, and I was able to wear them all day walking the cobblestone streets of Venice, although a bit more cushion would be appreciated for that application. The straps, on the other hand, were killer. I had to tighten them up to the point of cutting off circulation to keep them from rubbing in the sweaty, hot weather. I'll only be able to wear these for shorter time periods to avoid the pain of strap rubs.
