UPDATE:These were great the first time I purchased them. I have purchased this style a few times since I wrote my initial review. Do I still like them, yes. However, MBT was taken over after bankruptcy and I have noticed that ever since that happened the quality and longevity has wavered. Nothing like my first pair. These now wear out faster and the craftsmanship/materials seem cheaper. I could tolerate this if the price was adjusted to reflect the lower quality, but with the premium price still attached, I wouldn't purchase them again. OLD REVIEW:These are the first pair of MBT's that I have ever purchased and I cannot say that I am disappointed. I have been wearing Skechers shape ups and tone-ups for a while now and these are very similar but amplified. They are also better quality. I like the fact that they are very adjustable and have leather uppers. The leather is helpful because I have slightly wide feet which can make it hard to wear non wide shoes if they are synthetic, but leather has some give to it. When I first received them the leather straps were a little tight, like it might rub too much against the skin if worn for extended periods, but after a day of use they have already been broken in, and I can see that there will be no problem. I typically wear between a 9.5 and 10. I purchased the 40 because I knew the leather would stretch a bit, and I was right. Perfect shoes. Am ordering another pair because the rumor I have been hearing is that MBT's will be hard to find. Gotta get them while I can and before the prices skyrocket too much. When suffering from heel spurs and plantar fasciitis in the past, I purchased MBT bottom rocker shoes and they fixed my feet. These are not as good as those from 7 years ago, but they work well. They don’t feel as sturdy or rock as much as the old MBTs, but now they are the only shoes I can wear without heel pain. I will probably buy a new pair when these wear out.The fit is perfect, and, although it doesn't rock quite as much as the original MBT's, it rocks enough and doesn't make me work to keep my balance. The rocking motion noticeably reduces impact on my knees provided that the back of my heel hits the ground first. They also give proper support for my flat feet without aggressive arch support. It is wonderful to have these features and still have a sandal that keeps my feet cool. In most shoes I wear 7 wide, but, a 7.5 is perfect in MBT styles.I need the highest performance and rock MBT ratings; I had a previous pair of MBT sandals which were perfect for me: the KATIKA sandals. This pair, KIBURI, ALMOST does the same, but is not entirely highest rock. I had purchased the previous pair some years ago and wore the sandals for 5 years consistently. They were lifesavers, honestly. I am now looking for another such pair, but haven't found them. If you know where I can find them I shall immediately order them!ThanksThe shoes are better than anything else I have. My feet don't hurt as much as they used to at the end of the day. I noticed instantly my posture was better. The shipping was really fast from the seller and packed well.My only issue is that the MBT sandal shoes are very solid and hard. They are not cushy soft like other brands. I wish they had a gel or foam type top layer, but they don't.Its an off white, more of a very pale grey or winter white I suppose. NOT summer white ! Great shoe, lighter than older styles but still has the substantial foot support, front to back. THREE straps adjust, heel, top and toe. I dont think it runs 'narrow.' I have a wider foot and its wide on me but excellent fit. I did not have to tighten it, this style stays on easily. ALSO the sizing is very accurate if you follow the US table. For some reason MBT uses a half size up in their translation. I typically wear a 37 in flat sandals. But I got the 38 as it translates into 7 to 7.5. Which explains the slightly longer and slightly wider. Toes are about half covered, and my 'little toe' was nowhere near the straps as others had mentioned. I have longish toes, except for a typical little toe that is! Like walking on clouds and my hips do get the changed stride which does not irriate me the way any other shoe does. I cant say no to the price either. Got mine in 7 days.Well for once I agree with all of the reviews. While it looks clunky and heavy in the photo it isnt at all. Its stylish its lighter in weight and yes and a whole lot narrower but that's still ok. What wasn't said is that the leather is beautiful, soft polished and thin. And above all comfortable which I have come to expect from MBT's. Basically the photo does not do this sandal justice. I had it in my shopping basket for ever, not sure on whether it was a utilitarian masculine clunker. Actually you wouldn't know it was an MBT, its that stylish. And this style is not on their website - maybe only Amazon has them. It really is a winner.Update: Unfortunately those reviewers who commented the little toe being pinched were also correct. I noticed this after a full days wear but only on the left foot. This is because they really are narrow, and really only buy them if you have a narrrow foot. I looked at the web photos and should have picked this up. Why do they mess around with a good design? But I still love them and hope that strap will stretch in time.I need this product, because of a low arch , comfortableSized for narrow feet .. Not sized for wide feet. Very stylish for an MBT sandal but for me too narrow. I got 6.5 (40) which is my normal sandal size but it is long for my foot , so guess the sizing is on the big side in length but sizing small width wise : too narrow. .. they’d be ok for people with narrow feet but for people with wide feet you have to buy ones that are too long for optimum MBT fit recommendation ( MBT say heel of foot should be right at back of sole of sandal ) . I think they will be ok as leather will probably stretch a little over my mid foot (but my feet will then hang over sides a little, but with wide feet I often have to put up with this in sandals.. I don’t want to go up a size as then the excess space at the ends will be even longer) so my initial reaction is to keep them as I like them , and best of the MBTs Sandals I’ve tried so far and hopefully MBT action will be good enough even though heel will not be right at back of shoe, as recommended. Birkenstock’s are only shoes wide enough but MBTs help my posture, back and knees .Hope this review helps people with wide feet!!! (Also warning on MBT soles ..they crumble after 2-3 years ..apparently PU cushioning used in lots of comfort/sport shoes absorbs water and crumbles over a few years depending on humidity) . They should use different material.. but not in their interest to make long lasting shoes so may not happen unfortunately )Had to send them back. The sandal straps are Velcro and so can adjust to go around wide feet. Problem is the base of the sandals is really narrow so my wide feet went over the edges. This made it impossible to stand up properly let alone walk. Instead I bought Vionic sandals for wide feet and they are amazing for my arthritic toe, planter fasciitis and wide feetThe sandals are amazing, fit perfectly and look good. The seller was amazingly helpful as there was a problem with the delivery people and he did his upmost to get them to me rapidly. Would certainly buy from him againSo disappointed that i was unable to keep these shoes. They were super comfortable and looked lovely. Great fit too.Unfortunately MBTs are not suitable for people who have back problems. So had to return them.Unfortunately when these arrived they were too big and I returned them. No problems with refund. Luckily I was able to source MBT shoes locally and had my feet measured for them. This particular sandal would have been too narrow in my right size. It is a narrow fit. MBT shoes have to fit correctly to aid proper gait.
