I am extremely pleased with these shoes. I have nerve pain from diabetes & these shoes are great. I also can't bend to well & no problem at all, the shoe will stay open by itself until you get your foot into it, that is very important for me. they are extremely light weight and sharp looking, I was worried about the stretch material making the shoe look cheap, that's not the case they look great. I wear them with shorts for my every day shoe. I haven't needed the shoe to stretch for me yet but it looks like that feature will work well. It feels like the part that will stretch is right wear it needs to be. this is just my opinion but if you have serious nerve pain and or swelling get the shoes that are all stretch material you will never regret having that stretchability and comfort.The product fits as expected. However, it does not look as pretty as the photo display. If you're into high fashion. I'm using mine as a knock-around casual shoe. It definitely looks and plays the part for walking seniors with nerve pain.This shoe is very comfortable in any task you use it. I wear it for dress and casual. I even use it at home instead of house slippers, they are that comfortable.Excellent design and reasonable price - but runs small - I advise going up 1/2 sizeI do not recommend these shoes. The height and width in the toe area is not sufficient. I have two other pairs of Propet shoes which do fit and are the exact same size as this pair. The single strap, rather than the dual strap on the other two pairs is a design weakness. Don't buy them.My Dad has problems with water retention, these are perfect for him.I use the shoes for everyday work and play.
