I'm a long-time Chaco and Teva fan. These sandals feel very much like a cross between the two. The Chaco-like "Z" style strap is comfortable and easy to adjust and the sole is very soft and lightweight similar to Teva. I would prefer that the sole be a little bit thinner (it's oddly thick) and there isn't much of a tread pattern on the outsole. I don't think these are going to be well suited for hiking because they are so soft but they do make for good casual wear.
